Introduction

The Greater Bay Area Institute for AI Applications Research (GBAI) is a non-profit research institution dedicated to research on artificial intelligence (AI) applications, focusing on safe and efficient AI applications across all levels of society and all sectors. Established in 2024, GBAI operates as an open global research platform to accelerate safe and efficient AI applications in three aspects, namely comprehensive AI applications research, talent development, and the dissemination and commercialization of research outcomes, thereby promoting human well-being.
